1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 2 cups regular milk 1 cup evaporated milk 1 tablespoon ginger 1 teaspoon of cardamom (elachi, elychee) 1 tablespoon ghee
DIRECTIONS
Step 1: Please 1 cup of flour into pot and parch under low heat until it get light and slightly discolored. This should take approximately 7 to 8 minutes.
Step 2: Mix 2 cups of milk, 1 cup evaporated milk, 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon of ginger, 1 teaspoon of cardamom (elachi, elychee), and 1 tablespoon of ghee in a bowl. Stir until evenly mixed.
Step 3: Sift parched flour to remove any lumps.
Step 4: Add sifted flour into mixture and stir.
Step 5: Place entire mixture into cooking pot and cook under low to medium heat for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 6: Stir mixture while cooking to avoid lumps and to avoid burning (add a little water if mixture is too thick).
