To make 1 lb of Parsaad

3 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 tsp ginger
2 cinnamon sticks
2 cups ghee
4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup raisins
1 tsp cardamom (elachi, elychee)


Step 1: Boil 3 cups water with 2 cups sugar, 1 tsp ginger, and 2 cinnamon stick in a separate pot

Step 2: Melt 2 cups of ghee in pot and heat under medium heat in another pot

Step 3: Add 4 cups of flour to ghee and stir continuously to avoid lumps and burning

Step 4: Add 1 1/2 cup evaporated milk to mixture and continue stirring

Step 5: Add 1 cup coconut milk, 1/2 cup raisins and 1 tsp elychee while constantly stirring mixture

Step 6: Add the “phaag mixture” from step one and constantly stir until mixture becomes smooth

Step 7: Add some Love
